Atfirst,IwasnervousaboutjoiningtheEnglishcourse.Englishwasnotmyfavoritesubject,andIwasafraidIwouldnotbeabletokeepupwiththeclass.However,theteacherwasverysupportive,andthecoursewasdesignedtosuitstudentsofdifferentlevels.IrealizedthatthekeytoimprovingmyEnglishskillswastochallengemyself,tospeakandlistenasmuchaspossible,andtonotbeafraidofmakingmistakes.ThemoreIpracticed,themoremyconfidencegrew,andthemoreIenjoyedthecourse.BringingEnglishHome
Whenthecourseended,Iwassadtosaygoodbyetomyclassmatesandtheteacher.However,IknewthatmyEnglishlearningjourneywasnotover.Imadeacommitmenttomyselftokeeppracticing,evenwhenIwasbackhome.IreadbooksinEnglish,watchedEnglishmoviesandshows,andlistenedtoEnglishpodcasts.Ialsojoinedonlinelanguageexchangeprogramsandfoundnativespeakerstochatwith.ThebestpartwaswhenIrealizedIcouldunderstandthelyricsofmyfavoriteEnglishsongs,andsingalongwiththem!Englishhadbecomeapartofmydailylife.Lookingback,Icansaythatlastsummerwasaturningpointinmylife.LearningEnglishnotonlyimprovedmylanguageskillsbutalsoallowedmetostepoutofmycomfortzoneanddiscoveranewworld.IwouldencourageanyonewhoisconsideringlearningEnglishtotakethechallengeandembarkonthejourney.Whoknows,youmightjustenduphavinganunforgettableEnglishsummertoo!
